Description
Season
Produces bi-annually in late winter, from November till February. Flushes can be up to 3 months apart.
Tree Species
All hardwoods and softwoods are suitable. Preferred species: Beech, Chestnut, Conifer, Fir, Hornbeam, Maple Oak, Poplar, Spruce, Willow.
Timber Selection
Nameko can be grown on a variety of timber: including limbs and boughs, larger diameter logs, trunks cut into rounds, and stumps.
Inoculation Rate: 30 plugs per 50 cm length of timber
Dowel Size: 8 mm x 35 mm
